Your horseback adventure begins at 9:00 A.M. at the Tres Amigos Restaurant and Bar.  To start your day, you will be served a light, tropical breakfast on the outdoor patio overlooking the panoramic Diamante waterfall valley.

You will meet your professional bilingual guides, get friendly with your horse, and then we will saddle up.  The ride descends from San Salvaldor de Baru along a ridgetop trail, where you will enjoy breathtaking vistas as you enter the jungle.  Once in the Barucitu River valley, the trail follows the river through the incredibly diverse rainforest ecosystem to our Campground Welcome Center.

After you have changed into your swimwear, our guides will whisk you across the Baru River in an aerial tram arriving at the bottom of the majestic Baru Falls.  The river and the lower pool of the falls are a magical place to swim, play, explore, or just relax on the shore.  For the thrill seekers, there are multiple places to jump off the falls into the deep, clear water of the jungle oasis.

At the Campground Welcome Center, you can freshen up for your ride back to Tres Amigos where we serve you lunch on the patio while you enjoy fresh mountain air and the spectacular Diamante Falls.
